Partnerships
Active Cinema Journal considers a limited range of partnerships related to film viewing, film culture and screen education. Clear labelling lets readers see where a commercial relationship begins.
Possible collaborations
Suitable proposals may include clearly identified partner features, relevant resource listings and placements connected to film culture or screen learning. We consider each idea for its fit with the publication and its usefulness to readers; acceptance is not automatic.
Labelling and editorial boundaries
Paid or arranged material is labelled as partner material, and partner links are presented as such. Payment does not buy an independent review, endorsement or control over editorial conclusions. We may decline proposals that obscure a commercial relationship or mislead readers.
Make a proposal
Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Explain the organisation or project, the proposed format, the intended audience and any commercial arrangement. Include no sensitive information; a clear outline is enough for an initial discussion.
Close attention makes films richer
Film choices shape what we notice, expect and feel. We explain those choices in clear language, leaving room for viewers to reach their own readings.
